New York: February 15, 2003
1 gathering
People gathered in feeder marches all
over town and converged on the main event - though as they converged,
they became the main event. Few people got near the speakers'
platform on First Avenue, though some listened to the proceedings
on WBAI. We went to the New
York Public Library on 42nd and Fifth, where Reclaim
the Streets and GLAMericans
were gathering.
